Hello, my family and I have been part of Tisbury School since 2015 when we enrolled our eldest daughter, we also have a daughter in year 6 and our youngest daughter in year 2. I am an active member of PTA and I'm always happy to help out at the school whenever possible, including coaching a netball team. One of my goals for the school would be to purchase more sports orientated equipment and having the children getting involved in outdoor activities.

I live in Tisbury with my husband Thomas and two children who attend Tisbury (Lucy (9) and Samuel (7). I would like to have a more active role in supporting school governance and future planning. I work at Southland Hospital as an Allied Health Clinical Coordinator so am very used to developing and managing policy and procedures, working with Health and Safety issues and employment matters. I have experience with being on a board having acted as the Vice President of the Public Service Association (an 80,000 member union). I have already taken interest in supporting the school having joined the Tisbury School PTA as soon as my eldest Lucy started at Tisbury, so can proudly say that I have helped raise money to support our school. I also try to help as a parent help whenever work allows and I am a coach of one of the netball teams.

I am an agricultural contractor, dairy farmer, husband and Dad! I was raised in Tisbury and have lived in a variety of places since but I have managed to find my way back home. Tisbury School is special to me, my dad, siblings and I attended and my Mum also taught here. I currently have 3 boys attending Tisbury and my daughter is a past student.
I valve the sense of community we have here at Tisbury and look forward to giving back by being a member of the Board of Trustees.

I currently have two children at Tisbury School - Elyce and Rosie, and my son, Jamie attends Southland Boys High School. I work as an IT Trainer for Engage IT Training and also have a background in accounting, farming, coaching and fitness. I have been on the Tisbury School Board since 2019 and have been Presiding Member (aka Board Chair) since 2021. I have enjoyed the role and feel privileged to be in a position to make a positive impact on our children's schooling and education. Outside of school & work I enjoy time with my family, running & fitness, cooking and camping (in warmer months).

Along with my wife Tracy and 3 children Ruby, Gus and Annie we farm at Awarua. I have been in the district for 7 years. Ruby, Gus and Annie attend Tisbury School. I enjoy the community and the ever changing world of farming. The opportunity to grow with continual change, empower staff to learn new skills and be ready for whatever they choose to do next after farming with us is what drives me. I am currently on the Southern Field Days committee as vice chairman. I have had previous experience on Otago/Southland Dairy Awards and local Young Farmers committees. I feel I can add value to the Tisbury School Board with practical thinking, understanding that life never stays still and ensuring Tisbury School stays on track with its core vision of "Developing Confident, Resourceful, Life-Long Learners".
